Founders and couple Ashley and John birthed the idea for the R+R Collective out of their growing understanding for the importance of self-care especially during the initial Covid lock down.  Ashley, who has a strong knowledge and passion for the beauty industry, began to realise that her daily self-care rituals were a time when she could check in with herself, shut off the external noise and just be in the moment.  The ‘aha’ moment for the R+R Collective came when she reflected on her beauty routine. Ashley realised there were many things she did or used in her regime daily, however, adding that touch of luxury and embracing the act turned these tasks into a ritual.  This idea of mindful beauty has become the heart and soul of the R+R Collective.
